here - The Offshore Europe oil show in Aberdeen
got off to the best possible start yesterday with
the news that two new projects in the northern North
Sea had been approved.
Announcements on the £350million development
of the Penguin fields and the expansion of the existing
Columba field were made by Energy Minister Brian
Wilson.
It was also revealed by the Government yesterday
that 10 developments in UK waters have been approved
